On this page we will be posting our acceptances/rejections. For revisions, we prefer to come and find you on the contact information you have provided. This is so that instead of just a post, you have one of the mods to talk to in case of questions so things move smoother. Revisions might be for anything from weapon mechanics to wanting a little bit more information. For small changes (such as changing the wording of abilities for example) we will probably just accept you and ask you to quickly change that. So if you haven't got a reply and people below you have, don't panic! We are probably waiting for you to be available to discuss things with. Personality:
Personality: Feferi gets very -EXCIT--------ED, and does so easily. The smallest things excite her, from small shiny objects to big life events. She's a very bubbly and energetic girl, and probably the friendliest of the trolls, overall. She genuinely likes carrying on conversations with others and will do so happily. However, these conversations will generally be peppered with fish puns. She cares about others, as well - she wants to redefine the word 'culling', normally the act of killing the weak, to 'caring for the weak and infirm'.

Her blood color, Tyrian purple, is the highest on the hemospectrum, by which trolls judge other trolls; hers is only seen in high royalty. However, Feferi doesn't care about this. She insists that no troll is better than any other just because of the color of their blood. She's the heir to the Alternian throne, but she insists that it doesn't make her better than anyone else. She takes her responsibility and role seriously.

Feferi is nothing if not fearless. This stems in no small part from her dealings with her lusus, Gl'bolgy'b. A troll's lusus is like a parent, and in this case? Consider Feferi's 'mom' to be the troll version of Cthulu. From the time she was born, her lusus has been an emissary to Horrorterrors, as well as one that whispers prophecies to her. One of these is the story of the Vast Glub, which will kill all other trolls besides her if it goes off. In order to keep that from happening, she has to keep G'bolgy'b quiet and appeased at all times, which means feeding it the lusii of other trolls. While others do most of the work for her, it's implied that she's had to kill some of them herself. Either way, compared to the possibility of the Vast Glub, there's very little else that can frighten her.

After the trolls' home planet, Alternia, is destroyed, Feferi abdicates her role as the future empress-to-be. Despite the destruction of her home, her castle, her beloved cuttlefish, and everything else, she seems happiest when she's free of the expectations placed on her as the future empress, free to interact freely with everyone. She even goes so far as to ditch her current 'moirail' - or 'best friend' in human terms - and develop what could be a 'flushed' - or 'romantic' - relationship with Sollux Captor. After Alternia's destruction, she and the other trolls are in a desperately bad situation. Feferi remains optimistic during all of this, insisting that things will be okay.

But underneath all this shiny happy fearlessness is a snarky streak. She openly mocks Jade Harley for not knowing what a lusus is. Jade isn't the only one that Feferi makes fun of; she's known to actively make fun of Eridan Ampora, as well. On top of that, she pretends to be mad at Vriska Serket just to irritate her. This becomes more evident after her death in canon, in her conversations with everyone.

In the world Sam comes from, Vampires are commonly known of and feared. While most vampires prefer to simply live their lives the same as any human, it can be very difficult. Sometimes they starve, and revert to their base instincts, and kill several people. The means simply aren't there to give vampires any kind of normal life. The vampire clans and ruling council are out of touch with these 'independent' vampires, and are more concerned with them and theirs to give them any aid at all. Only the Ruthwen clan, under the influence of Katarina Ruthwen, former human vampire activist, and current vampire wife to Drakonus Ruthwen, the eldest of all, has made any attempt to help these people.

Sam's life was completely normal up until his elder brother Jared's senior year of high school. Sam and Jared's father was a high-power lawyer with a practice in downtown Chicago. He worked his way from the ground up, and expected nothing less than excellence from his boys. He laid the pressure down heavily onto the boys, expecting nothing but the best academically and in sports. Sam never really wanted for anything, aside from a break from the pressure laid on his shoulders. Science and math had been his strong suit, so when he won the 7th grade science fair, he got the closest thing to encouragement he'd ever had from his father. From that day, he focused on his grades, and every year since then he'd been at the top of his class. However, Jared was still the favored son, the basketball and track star, leading his squads to many statewide championships. Throughout the problems with their father, Jared and Sam stuck with each other, Jared occasionally intervening to get their father off Sam's back. Sam by far got the worst of it, since Jared was the first to come near their father's standards. Usually, the abuse was emotional or psychological. As the years went on, though, their father took to drinking, and it became more physical.

Their mother on the other hand, while she couldn't do much to keep her husband from being so stern on the boys, she did step in to help them pick up the pieces and she was always very loving and gentle with them. They loved her very much, and swore between the two of them that if their dad ever hurt her, that they would take matters into their own hands.

One day, early in Sam’s junior year and Jared’s senior, his father was very late coming home from the office. That was nothing unusual, especially for a Friday night. He would stumble into the house sopping drunk at about four a.m. most of those nights. Sam usually made a point of staying the night with a friend over the weekends, but this night was different for both of them. Their mother was also out of town, visiting with an ailing sister. Sam was at a typical high school party, some were drinking, but not him. He usually ended up in the nice-guy friends zone with his female friends, but his luck changed that night. She left the party early with him, and they went back to his house. In his room, the hormones took over. Sam had put music on, loud, pounding club music, of the lady’s choosing. So he didn’t hear the door slam closed at about two. But he heard the girl’s startled scream when the tall, foreboding silhouette of his father was framed in his doorway. After a slurred word of congratulations, the door was closed again. After that, the pressure was relieved. And as children in Sam’s situation tended to, when they see something the abuser likes, they occasionally overcompensate, and thus began his reputation as a teenage manwhore. Every week a different girl, and the only relevant interaction between father and his younger son was the occasional resupply of condoms. He wasn’t completely despicable about it, he was always respectful and sweet to the girls, and always used protection. Though there was no mistake about what he wanted from the girls he knew.

A few months later, the sports hero, the fatherly favorite, and little brother's idol, went missing. The friends he had been with that night had been killed by a vampire. They’d been found drained of blood with marks on their neck. Sam, his mother, and his father heard nothing for two days. Then Jared called. He said he was okay, but he couldn't talk long. That night, Sam fell victim to the worst beating of his life, with no older brother to protect him. The only thing that saved him from a head blow that would have surely put him in the hospital was a phone call being made to the house. While his father had been distracted, Sam successfully barricaded himself in his bedroom for the night. After another couple of days, Jared ended up in the care of the Ruthwen clan, the largest and oldest of the vampire clans. Jared set up a meeting with his parents and Sam. The news Jared had was that he was now a vampire. That he’d been forced to stick with the vampire that had killed his friends until the clan policing the area caught up to him. Their father demanded he come home, and attempt an experimental procedure to regain his humanity. Jared refused, the family argued, and Sam ended up running off with Jared. He begged his older brother to turn him into a vampire, and thus began their lives together as apprentices to the Ruthwen clan.

The turning process had nearly killed him, due to Jared’s inexperience with the process. But they did come out of it together, and closer than ever. Sam found his niche in medicine, studying directly under the leader in genetic study, Professor Niles Crawford. He worked hard, and studied hard. After ten years of study, medical school, and his residency, he comes into his own as a skilled surgeon, and finds a place in a Chicago ER in the country's first hospital with a department and staff trained specifically in the treatment of vampires.

However, all of this also has taken its toll on his emotional state. His hospital is constantly under threat of attack by people that would prefer the entire race of vampires were annihilated. It was also these people that were responsible for the murder of his mother. Also, his boss at the hospital has a few distinct similarities with his estranged father in his overbearing attitude and occasional drinking on the job. As young as he was during all these changes, he did not cope well. He slipped into the habit of a vampire drug known as Sunshine, a combination of morphine, methamphetamines, and cocaine concentrated to levels that are lethal to humans, and when he couldn't take the edge off everything with that, he cut himself as a form of release. Thanks to his brother, Professor Crawford, and others that loved him, including the Ruthwens' daughter, Angeline, he has overcome this, and is well on the road to recovery. He does, however still relapse to his old cutting habits when the pressures of his life combine to overwhelm him. The primary stressor is when multiple aspects of his personal life become unmanageable, not so much the stresses of his job.

But as things quieted down, and some protective legislation was passed, the pressure came off. Sam married Angeline, the woman of his dreams. Before too long, they were expecting their first child. And that's when he got taken to a weird ass school and had his memories partially wiped oops.

Personality:
He is a friendly and easy going sort of guy, and he's always eager to help when he can. He makes friends easily, and once he has, he is generally playful, and will make jokes with them. But when there's trouble, he stands with his friends, supports them, and backs them up whenever possible. He is also very intelligent, earning his Doctor of Medicine in about half the usual time. Right out of school, he got a position in the busiest ER in Chicago, as their first vampire trauma surgeon and specialist in vampirism.

However, most of this is a facade. He has severely low self-esteem, and he nearly lives and breathes for the approval of others around him, particularly authority figures. His talent as a surgeon is one method through which he gains this gratification. However, when things go wrong, and too much pressure gets put on him, this problem rears its ugly head and sends him into a depression. When this happens, he usually secludes himself to wallow in his own misery, and he needs a solid catalyst to get him out of it. On his lowest lows, he can sometimes falter in his recovery, and return to old self-harming habits. For him, it’s a release from the pressure, an avenue for the pain to take to allow him to pretend to move forward. He kind of just goes through the motions until he has some kind of gratifying experience. While this is an unexpected issue for a vampire to have, he is a very young one, and is perpetually trapped in a teenage hormonal imbalance. He gets inordinately intimidated by his much older kin, and whenever someone brings up the whole immortality thing he sometimes panics.

He uses his durability as a vampire to protect his human friends, whenever possible. Otherwise, he’s not really much of a fighter, more of a very durable meat shield. His skill as a surgeon is probably more valuable than any more direct methods, something he’ll be the first to admit. He does feel bad about this, sometimes, and he wishes he could be more well-rounded. Especially since he’s so used to being protected by his brother. He’d like to be able to stand more on his own.

Overall, he’s taking his vampirism very well. Despite his issues, he’s generally pretty well-adjusted day to day. He’s not a ball of angst and brooding. If not for the fangs, pale skin, appetite for blood, and allergy to the sun, one would think he’s just a normal guy.

Personality:


Latvia is the youngest of the three Baltic "brothers" - something that they are often perceived as and that Latvia would like them to be, but that they are not. While Estonia is the one that he has a much longer history of living with (mainly because they tended to be woned by the same nation - in Hetalia canon this connection is exaggerated compared to reality) and the one that Latvia will go back to when he has nobody else to hang out with would like to spend time with someone, Lithuania is his favourite not!brother, and he is incredibly jealous of how easily Poland attracts the brunet's attention. The reason for this might be that Lithuania is someone that he can truly look up to: While Estonia is good at staying under the radar and doing well in silence, Lithuania is the one of them three who is proud and brave and was once a great and strong country, something that Latvia is positive he'll never be.

Being still in a child's body (mostly; no child would be able to stomach as much alcohol) despite everyone his age being at least 17 and usually older than that by now, and being really short on top of that, doesn't really further his self-esteem, either. It might not be surprising then that he is a pretty heavy case of passive-agressive, he hardly ever snaps into "normal" aggression. It also might not be surprising that he would love to be a big brother or mentor to someone (he fails at that though, see below). But he isn't a negative character. He does make a good friend and brother, though maybe a clingy one, he can be brave at all the wrong moments and he's a hard and competent worker. His shyness and withdrawn personality aren't faked, they are genuine - a lot of bad things have happened to him in his life, and unlike other nations he never had a good time to make up for it or even a good friend to hold on to. Estonia comes closest to that. This might also be the reason why he can become so clingy.

The first thing that someone would notice about Latvia are his stutter and his constant shaking. Sure, the other two Baltics shake too at the point of time that Latvia is from, but he's taking it to a completely new level. It also usually includes tears in his eyes or outright crying. The stutter is basically the audible part of the shaking. The little nation also has the bad habit of saying the wrong things to the wrong people at the wrong time which gets him into trouble. He likes reading romance novels and poetry and seems to have a nice singing voice. Latvia also has a talent for the most unlikely mishaps to happen to him: One time, he almost gets eaten by a sheep that he wanted to pet.

[Estonia's songs were always beautiful, the middle brother had the best voice of them three. Latvia had always loved hearing him sing, because no matter what the time would be, his songs would not change. He would never step down and not sing anymore. Not even Mr. Russia could change that, would dare to take his songs from their middle brother. He would take their language and religion and national anthem, but never forbid him to sing.

Listening to him always made the youngest one feel safe, no matter how bad the circumstances. Nearly always... there were things that not even his brothers voice could make him block out. Times when he couldn't feel safe, not even in curled up against Estonia's side, when the things happening around them were too bad. He wondered if this place would become a time like these.]

[He slid into a seat at the end of the table and stared down at his food, trying to avoid everyone's eyes yet not managing to not be curious about everyone else. But as soon as he looked up, he saw the expression on the face of a boy close to him, clearly assessing him and coming to the conclusion that he would be an easy target. He hated this. Bad, horrible things would probably happen, and it all being so unpredictable only made things worse. It was almost the same as in Russia's house, only without his people to worry about. Which was a relief at least.

After having coated his bread with as much jam as he could fit on it, he dared to look up again and caught sight of a boy about his physical age who seemed about as lost as himself. he tried to smile which did not work properly and then just decided to speak.]

Personality:
As a country of eternal sunshine and good spirit, Spain is a warm hearted and cheerful character. Spain is the nation of passion and it works in two ways. In one sense, he is incredibly loving and cares greatly for his loved ones. He is willing to go to great ends to show it and won't hesitate to have a Spanish bull charge into another person's home if he thinks someone he cares for is in danger. Not only will he break down the door, he'll also give the offender a very stern scolding on what is right and wrong. You see, Spain always tries to be diplomatic. . . after he charges in at full force and breaks a few things. He doesn't expect anyone to listen to him (perhaps its because he's always been disregarded as a fool) so he is always surprised when people do. If people aren't willing to listen, he won't think twice about attacking even if he knows he can't win. He doesn't think twice about his actions and there are times when it comes to hit him in the face full force. To save South Italy, he'll take on the Ottoman Empire! What do you mean there's no money in his wallet? To show that devil, England, the error of his ways, he'll send his entire armada to invade! Wait. . . what do you mean a storm is coming?! Many people consider Spain foolish but if you were to call him that, he would only laugh and say he is burning with passion through and through.

Spain is unable to read situations and it makes him very easy to take advantage of. However! Spain is not completely hopeless. You see, there's a difference between being oblivious and being stupid so Romano, please don't lie and tell him the squirrel wet your bed. On the occasion Spain is actually right about something, chances are, he followed a gut instinct instead of thinking things through. When he sees France creeping on South Italy, he senses something is off and follows him to find out that France is out to claim his territory.

Nothing changes the fact that Spain, as a character, is foolish. There are times when he will say things that are particularly cruel and not realize he's hurt someone's feelings. This is shown when he considers trading South Italy for his brother. After the harm has been done, Spain will normally figure out his mistake after the fact and try to fix it.

Despite Spain's cheerful personality, there are times when he is shown to be an absolutely miserable character. When his economy fails, he shows that he can become over dramatic. When he catches a cold, he thinks he's going to die. The same strip also shows that he Spain can hold a grudge. In the strip, he proclaims with (what he thinks is) his dying breath that he wishes he could give England one, last hit.

Once upon a time, Spain was a powerful empire and he had the imperial ego to go along with it. He blindly followed a man named Christopher Columbus across the Atlantic and accidentally discovered the Caribbean while looking for India. It's cool though, he called everyone that lived there Indians anyways. When he returned to Europe with valuables from the New World, he showed the other nations that a little optimism goes a long ways when you trust in unbelievable Italians. It is mentioned in Himaruya's notes that Spain treated all of his colonies rather poorly and spoiled South Italy during this time.

During this time, he became rivals with a certain rock in the sea by the name of England which resulted in his precious armada sinking into the sea. Spain has never forgiven England. Spain also dislikes America after the events of the Spanish-American War and will kick and try to bring America down whenever he can.

Spain also enjoys playing soccer and has a curious affinity for turtles. He has a pet (?) bull. His talents include playing guitar, taking siestas, and cheering people up. His favorite food is tomatoes but he is fond of sweets.

Canon point: After the stadium burns down in Episode 18, "The Strongest Woman in the Universe"

Personality:
Aisha Clanclan is a proud Ctarl-Ctarl; an alien, cat-like race. Her pride, in both her race and herself, may be her defining trait. She almost constantly brags on her own strength, and the strength of the Ctarl-Ctarl. While annoying, it's based on fact: she is the strongest member of the crew, and wins the title of the strongest woman in the universe. She sees Ctarls as being inherently better than other races, and sees herself as being better than others. Upon arriving upon the Outlaw Star, she dismisses the ship as being inferior to Ctarl spacecraft. However, after it gets hit by missiles and is (relatively) okay, she acknowledges that the ship is "tougher than she thought". Although she is stubborn when it comes to reaching her goals (she hitchhikes across space to find Gene at one point), she can admit she might be wrong. Which doesn't necessarily mean that she will, just that she isn't completely delusional.

Aisha has a very hot temper and is easily upset. This seems to be a trait common to most Ctarl-Ctarl, as seen when they were going after the outlaw Hilda. The person who usually gets the worst of it is Gene, but he's also the one who eggs her on the most. Her temper usually gets her fired from jobs, she's shown getting fired from two in the show.

Before getting involved with the Outlaw Star, she was Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire. Going to space is the highest honor in Ctarl-Ctarl society, and Aisha definitely sees it as such. When she gets demoted to Resident Officer of Blue Haven (a title with no perks, basically leaving her stranded) she is enraged and vows revenge. She spends the first half of entire series trying to earn her position back, trying to get back to her "place in the sun". Titles are important to Aisha, and to the Ctarl-Ctarl. Yet she chooses to go with the rest of the crew to a different part of space at the end of the show, with no mention of the empire at all. At that point, it's safe to say that she is, at the very least, as loyal to her friends as she is to the empire. And she's extremely loyal to the empire.

Yet she's also extremely loyal to her friends. Despite her pride and self-centeredness, once she joins the crew she's really quite the team player. She helps with finding odd jobs for the crew, and puts her life on the life more than once. The most notable instance of this is in the second to last episode, when they finally arrive at the Galatic Leyline (the place they have been trying to reach from the beginning, which is rumored to contain treasure). The entire crew sets out to find the treasure, split up, and are challenged by pirates. When her and Jim run into a particular strong one, she sends him ahead for his safety. It seems like your typical heroic gesture, yet it means more than that. She cares more about his safety than she does about the treasure. This treasure could have done more than got her position back, it could have potentially gotten her a promotion. But she doesn't hesitate to send him on.

Although she's an officer, she doesn't behave with any sort of decorum. She's a big kid, really. She constantly teases, is both rash and brash, hot-tempered, and loud. She's also really curious, constantly into things. Again, she frequently violates her fellow crew-members personal space. It can be annoying, and she either does not realize this or does not care.

Canon point/AU explanation: Britannia is a Hetalia based AU/OC. A theory where there is a physical manifestation of the empire walking around under the guise of an average human being. Though she can often be found meeting with the current ruler of the empire, few know who she is and even fewer her true nature. She is merely a hidden shadow within the vast lands of the empire, and so long as it exists, so too will she.

Personality:
Britannia's personality is governed by the will of her people and is therefore subject to change depending on how their voices shift with the times. At the moment, she seems to encompass traits found mostly in that of her nobility. She's proud, confident in her skills and power and very rarely (if ever) shows compassion or mercy. Her ruthless nature knows very few limits if it means she'll achieve her goal in the end, reflecting an admirable (if frightening) determination.

Despite this, she also has the ability to play the social game extremely well. Her facial expressions very rarely match up with what she's truly feeling, which tends to give her a kinder disposition than she truly has. The only hint at this are her smiles which, sadly, are always offset by her cold eyes that reflect her true nature.

It's not that she's heartless or completely uncaring, merely that she is driven by the desire to expand and grow in power. To embody the ideal of her peoples and become the strongest superpower in the world, to be the perfect empire. It is this goal that drives her and makes her forget the more humane emotions that she used to have when she was smaller and on the brink of ruin.

In contrast to that, her personality as a "human" is much more down-to-earth and likeable. When not acting in the interests of the empire, she's energetic and tomboyish, reflecting the vitality of her vast lands. Loud, boisterous and perhaps overconfident, she loves being active and loathes staying inside, especially on rainy days. Because of that, most people who only brush her life in passing tend to come away with a positive look of her character. Those who stick around longer begin to notice the insincerity in her words and that, in truth, she's extremely self-centered. Her acts of charity and generous nature only occur because she seems to be in a perpetual good mood. The minute that cheerfulness dissipates, however, she becomes the cold, icy corporeal form of the empire that has conquered various lands through force.

Upgrades:
  • Offense: The stat used for attacks, a weapon with a high offense stat can deal more raw damage. Attacks from an offensive weapon are therefore more painful.
  • Defense: The stat used for defending, this determines how easy a weapon is to damage or break. A Weapon with high defense takes less empathic damage if their weapon form is hit.
  • Yo-Yo: This weapon returns to its Player's hand if thrown, dropped or forcibly removed. Yo-Yo must be activated within three seconds of the weapon leaving your hand.
  • Dual-Wielding: The Player can wield two Weapons at once if one of them has this ability. Even if both Weapons have the Dual-Wielding ability, the Player is still only able to wield two.
  • Stormfront: The elemental strengths and weaknesses of the battle area shift randomly every minute.

Sliding into the seat and grinning as the cockpit slid shut, she yanked the drive from her pocket and inserted it into the slot as the screens slowly blinked into life, showing the proud emblem of her flag.

"All set, Ellis?" A voice rang out through her headset, making her wince as she brought up a gloved hand to adjust the volume.

"Looking good, inputting starter code now." She responded as she slid her fingers over the screen as butterflies danced around in her stomach. It wasn't often she got to ride in a knightmare frame, her guise as a civilian often getting in the way of that despite her constant presence on the battlefields around the globe. You'd think with three different warfronts going on, all at the same time, she'd have more opportunity for things like this but... ah well, no use crying over spilt milk.

Besides, she was riding in one right now, wasn't she?

"Controls are a bit tight, probably because of the chill." She added. Granted, test piloting a prototype wasn't exactly the most glamorous of ways to be inside of one of these beauties, but with the emperor keeping her so close to home and away from the fighting, she'd take what she could get at this point. "C'mon lovely, up and at 'em..." As she felt the vibrations and motions of the knightmare starting to move, subconsciously a low smirk began to curl her lips. As her thumb smoothed over the top of the controls, she leaned forward and pushed on the handles, sending the knightmare forward at a sudden run.

"Whoa- slow down! It's a knightmare frame, not a sports cari!"

"You asked me to test this thing, didn't you? So I'm testing it!" She replied gleefully as she jerked the handle suddenly and pulled a sharp turn.

Soon, she thought. Soon she'd be back out there on the fields, as soon as these goddamn war meetings were over, she'd be back out there and drawing more people underneath her flag.

Next stop on the list? Area 18.

Personality:
Scott is anything but a decent guy. He's selfish, absent minded, and generally a prick. Regardless of his Canadian politeness, Scott would much rather see his needs met than try and meet some one half way. Even when it matters most, Scott seems to be super-absorbed in his own world then the one around him. He'll try and make up excuses, dodge responsibility, and try to forget his past as much as possible. He legitimately believes he is the hero of a movie and/or comic book.

Scott is able to break the fourth wall, and has on many occasions, even in his own book. His knowledge of video games and pop culture can only be lent to the fact that he has no job, spends his days inside playing games or watching movies, when he isn't practicing with his band. He has a knack for giving nicknames, avoiding the subject (but spilling the beans anyways) and getting himself into trouble. He's adept at sword play, jumping, running, and mimicking Street Fighter techniques.

He is motivated mostly by his love(?) for Ramona Flowers, to perpetually look cool in front of every one, and to vanquish the evil exes that stand between him and getting to third base. He's also motivated to keep a band together, even though it never seems to pan out the way he'd like. He'll go above and beyond the call of duty if it means being able to finally go to dinner or take the bus home to make out with his girlfriend.

Personality:
Sollux can be extremely quick to go from sarcastic and full of himself to violently self-deprecating. He has plenty to be full of himself about – he's very intelligent, extremely good with computers, and a high-level psionic – but he also struggles with depression and an occasionally debilitating lack of self-worth. Troll society is brutal and unforgiving; since Sollux is a lowblood, any "weaknesses" he possesses would have been liable to get him culled back on Alternia. Trolls don't have therapists, just massacre pits, and as an adult if Sollux hadn't been able to pull himself together he probably would have been executed to save everybody the trouble. Alternia was obliterated by meteors a couple of months back on Sollux's personal timeline, but that's not the kind of thing it's terrifically easy to pick out of your self-esteem.

Sollux is an introverted sort of guy; he's not big on broadcasting his feelings to more than a couple of very close friends, and he prefers to spend his leisure time on his own. He's not generally super keen to talk with people he doesn't know, either, although this isn't down to any kind of shyness so much as indifference. He can be pretty rude and vulgar, even to people he cares about, and he's prone to locking up and lashing out when his feelings are hurt. Essentially, he doesn't really come off as particularly courageous or generous, but when it comes down to it he is a pretty brave kid who really wants to do the right thing and doesn't hesitate to put his life on the line for his friends.

At the moment he is taking a somewhat more chipper stance to things than he ever has in the past, but this is mainly thanks to a couple of very recent factors: i) no longer being relentlessly plagued by the screams of the imminently deceased, and ii) being reassured by a glimpse into the afterlife that two of the people most important to him are okay and happy even if he failed to keep them from being killed. Honestly that's enough to cheer anyone up, but that might not last in Rakuen – he might try to take an optimistic attitude to the sudden change of circumstance, but it's equally possible he'll prepare for the worst out of habit and self-defense, depending on how things pan out. If anything it's most likely that it'll be a bit of both.

Personality:
Ramona Flowers is, in short, an enigma. She keeps to herself for reasons she refuses to tell anyone else, and doesn't ever stay in one place too long. She's known as the 'Ninja Delivery Girl' for a reason: She knows her shortcuts and remembers them so she can get away if she needs to. She tends to take a badass stand and nature to everything she does when she's not emotionally conflicted, but nobody's sure if it's because she wants to seem strong or because she is strong-willed when she wants to be. Those that don't know her will rarely get much of a response from her unless she likes them. She tends to stay away from suspicious people, but she has a bit of a draw to those with a 'bad' personality (renegades, etc.) and is seen smoking and drinking sometimes to get her mind off of stuff.

She's always hesitant to reveal anything about her past, especially to nosy people. She tends to get upset and jealous easily, especially when she gets ignored when she tries to get someone's attention, and when she sees someone she likes with someone else. She sometimes lashes out when she gets upset enough, as well. She refuses to tell anything to people she doesn't know, no matter how hard they pry. However, if you're her friend, she'll sometimes open up about herself if she feels like it. And sometimes, she'll withhold information just because she wants to.

One of Ramona's biggest flaws, however, is her willingness to run away when things seem bad. As long as she isn't pushed to her limit then and there, certain emotional situations can cause her to change. This is one of the reasons why she changes her hairstyle and clothing as often as she does. Her ability to peruse the special world known as 'Subspace' causes her to think she can outrun anything and everything as long as she changes before someone else tries to. She's rebellious and usually refuses to be part of the social norm, despite how many people seem to conform to it. She prefers to be alone most of the time, and, being so used to it, doesn't tend to make many friends.

The truth about Ramona is that she's selfish, however. She wants to be different from everything, no matter the cost. And when something goes terribly wrong, she'll have no qualms about running off and starting a new life. So long as she changes before anything else, she believes she is ahead of the world at large. After meeting Scott, and running off near the end of the series, however, she began to express regrets. She became a bit less selfish and wanted to try and make amends with Scott (and a few of the evil exes.) She herself admits that she can be a bitch, of her own accord.

Overall, however, Ramona is still an enigma, something that most people know a bit about, but not everything. And she plans to keep it that way. Those that she trusts enough will learn bits and pieces about her past, albeit vague ones. She's complicated and quiet, but is nice to people who aren't trying to get info out of her or are just plain rude.

Personality:
Roxie Richter is the former college roommate and fourth evil ex-lover of heroine Ramona Flowers. Even though they're no longer dating, Roxie and Ramona are still on good enough terms that Ramona let Roxie stay the night at her house, and they didn't even make out that much. She's by far the nicest member of the League of Evil Ex-Boyfriends, but that's not really saying much, as she still would like to chop Scott Pilgrim's head off. But, hey, details.

To the people she cares for, Roxie isn't that bad of a person. She's blunt, brash, and to the point (and isn't above physical violence to prove a point, but then again she lives in a world that runs on video game physics and everyone knows it, so it's not quite as bad as it would be in the real world), but she has good qualities, too. She's the sort of person who would defend to the death someone she loves. And while she's not the type to get sappy or emotional, she is more than capable of love and friendship.

Roxie is a ninja -- well, half ninja, but don't worry, she doesn't have an inferiority complex about it or anything. Yes she does. Actually, she apparently has issues with her mother or something, and constantly feels as though she doesn't measure up to whatever standard she's supposed to meet. She's also self-conscious about her weight. Because of this, Roxie is angry a lot of the time, quick to snap at anyone who contradicts or disagrees with her.

CHARACTER INFORMATION


Name: Ruka Urushibara

Personality:
Ruka in a word would be 'meek'.

She is quiet and does not speak unless spoken to. She is polite. She is jumpy, easily made anxious and easily frightened. She is quick to cry. She is insecure.

There's very little about her that isn't meek or demure. Because of the way she was raised-- in a shrine by traditionally Japanese parents-- she has grown up very naive and sheltered. She doesn't know many things beyond school, but nonetheless is more perceptive than she might seem at first. For example, she understands that the way Okabe acts with her is a bit of a running joke/the other being a gigantic ham 90% of the time, but she appreciates it nonetheless. She likes playing at master and disciple; she likes to rely on someone, and likes to learn things-- even if they're silly. And Okabe's acceptance of her is what makes it such a nice thing for her.

Though that said she doesn't seem to understand certain things, hence naive and gullible. For example, when someone plays at being hurt she might not get that they're just playing. She genuinely doesn't understand why someone would do that, so doesn't even consider it. And so, she is very trusting. She takes someone's word at face value most of the time, as if to be respectful or polite to them. She earnestly believes what other people will tell her. She is also similarly unwillful. She'll go along with things that make her unhappy out of fear that she'll make someone else unhappy-- all in order to be polite and what she perceives as kind to another person.

The main source behind her insecurity is the fact that when she was born, the doctors announced her as male. She considers herself a guy simply because she doesn't know that transgender people exist and that it's a real thing. This is largely thanks to her sheltered upbringing, but also in part to due to her being afraid. Even if she did know, she likely wouldn't make steps to come out despite earnestly and truly wishing for 'a girl's body' to be her own, and believing she was put in the wrong body. It's all out of fear that she calls herself a "he".

Fearfulness is a huge part of her. She's afraid of a lot of things due to never experiencing them before, and also because of rejection. It's implied that she's been rejected a fair bit by people because of her very female appearance "misleading" them, and goes so far as to fall in love with the first person to say that kind of thing didn't matter.

TL;DR she's a shy moeblob.

Personality:
At first glance, Marisa is definitely not your typical human. She's also sly, always trying to find her way around situations to gain the advantage, no matter what they might be. She twists words sometimes but isn't the best at being slippery. She definitely tries, though. As slippery as she is verbally, she's nowhere near as such when it comes to being a thief. When she sees something she wants, she'll go so far as to announce to its owner that she plans to 'borrow' it, assuming the owner is there. She doesn't even attempt to hide the things she takes, making any living space she occupies the messiest anyone's ever seen. She is, however, a thief that doesn't often realize the value (or non-value) of things she steals, often making her victims wonder if she's doing this on impulse or by choice.

Even given all of that, she has no qualms attempting to shift blame onto others if it's something she's particularly sneaky about (which isn't often), even if it's obvious she did it. And if it fails? It's no biggie to her. She doesn't usually think very highly of others' opinions, and it's all thanks to the people she's hung around. [Reimu Reimu Mima Reimu] She's often disliked by a few due to this.

Despite all of this, Marisa is not just a self-indulgent witch and thief. She's pretty smart, and when determined can get things done when necessary. And when someone needs her help, she'll offer up, but not usually for free. Should someone ever get past all of this and make friends with her, she'll become an entirely different person, and (aside from casual pranking every so often) will help them for less and protect them if need be. And hey, she's a complete blast to be around when she's not busy stealing stuff!

If there's one thing that Marisa never backs down on (other than stealing), it's a challenge. Whether it consists of fighting or just something recreational. She's also a good person to have around for team challenges or fights. And if you touch her hat, she may have to hurt you.

Overall, Marisa's a pretty obvious and blunt person, doesn't care about your personal space, and wants to take things to find a use for them. Even if she can't find an obvious use for them. But hey, if that doesn't piss you off, you might find a good friend in her. If you can stand her long enough.

Personality:

Any first assessment of Estonia would glean that she's not much of a fighter, maybe a bit of a know-it-all, and not terribly excitable. One making these assumptions wouldn't be right about very much. She fights her best battles with wit and words, makes an active effort to definitely know a bit of everything, and can be downright passionate when she wants to be. However, she rarely wants to be.

As a nation, her first interest is her people. This, in turn, dictates a lot of her motivations and passions. Just finally getting out of the broken Union of Soviet Socialists Republics means both the hardships of reaffirming herself as a legitimate nation (which she'd already had trouble with even before her annexation into the Union) and the joys of autonomy. Her nationalism is at an all-time high, and it's probably as easy now to coax a fondly-sung folksong from her lips as it ever will be. It is not always so, though, as she tends to keep herself closed off, emotionally isolated from the region she'll never be geographically, or politically, apart from. Over excessive amounts of socialization, she often prefers the company of her books, or, more recently, whatever technology she can get her hands on. For centuries, she's been waiting for the time when logic would become the dictator of justice and the resolution of conflict, and she'll keep waiting, darn it, until it happens. Among her Baltic "sisters" – herself, Latvia, and Lithuania – she is known as the cool-headed and rational one, even if she will fight with whatever means necessary once she reaches her breaking point. She's a follower of rules, until they start to have a negative impact on her people, and in combat she exhibits more tactical knowledge than strength. This makes her not so incredibly skilled at hand-to-hand fighting of any sort, but avoiding trouble with her intelligence or knowing exactly when it's most advantageous to make a necessary move are her specialities.

For many, many (those who knew her when she was younger may want to add another "many") years, Estonia has been a fan of books and of learning. It kept her complacent when her complaints were useful, or even founded on purely illogical things (i.e. hating Poland) and provided her with a wealth of knowledge she soon grew almost addicted to expanding. This has expanded into a complete fascination with information technology , giving her a distinctly "nerdy" quality. Add in a naturally cold, practically Nordic, climate, and it's very easy for her to come off as a very cold girl.

That's not always true, though, as she can be protective of and affectionate towards her neighbours. Her oldest and dearest friend, Finland, is someone she often worries about, when they're not already together thinking up hijinks of some sort. The sort of things they get into are proof that Estonia's apparent aloofness is not all there is to her anymore. Latvia, on the other hand, gets a very stern and worrying sister to the north, although Estonia is more tolerant of hugs from the middle Baltic than she is of anyone else's. While her relationship with Lithuania and others in her area is outwardly one of friendly jest and not too much depth, she does care for them, in her own way, even when it seems like she does not. She hates to see them picked on, and although she's intimidated by Russia herself, and even mildly paranoid thanks to the nation to her west, if there's any way to mediate for the sake of her friends, she will.

She likes her solitude and her independence, but she also enjoys problem solving and takes deep personal offence to people being morally wrong and taking advantage of others, as a situation she's well acquainted with. Overall, Estonia is friendly, but keeps her distance, hiding herself within the company of her logic and learning.

Personality:
First, America is a very excitable person with a child-like quality around him. Being considered the youngest nation in the world is one of the reasons he has this quality of his. Not much of one for being serious all of the time, possibly due to his age, Alfred tends to be a fairly optimistic person with a light air around him. Having a bit of a playful side to him as well, he likes to sometimes tease England and other nations. Alfred also enjoys games as well, mostly video games that he gets from Japan. Although he believes that the monsters, which are supposed to be scary in Japan's games, are actually cute.

Second, he is considered to be a happy, go-lucky kind of guy because of this not a whole lot can bring him down. However this does not mean that he is never serious; even he can have a serious side to him whenever the situation calls for it, or does not call for it. Generally though this seriousness is usually caused whenever his actions are questioned, or when he is admitting to something that he had done wrong. The only other times that he is serious is when the situation calls for it; such as when another person needs help or he admits that something bad was his fault. But once those moments are over he will generally go back to being his usual, happy self.

Third most is that he does, sometimes, become sad through past memories. Sometimes it would seem like he has a type of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Although it is most likely just bad memories floating around in his head, and generally he will usually stay away from those memories. This is most like a form of trying to avoid any pain that he has experienced in the past. And while he is a very young nation, Alfred is still a few hundred years old. And therefore he has quite a few memories in his head, and not all of them are pleasant. Alfred also seems to have a bit of a nervous tick when he watches anything in the horror genre. And even though he claims that such films are too scary, he still has to watch them, as he is the hero. Although this does not make much sense to a lot of people as if they scare him so much then why keep watching them? Once again it is because he claims to be the hero.

This leads to the fourth part of his personality; Alfred has a hero complex. It is as simple as that, Alfred enjoys anything heroic or has done good deeds. He loves stories of heroics done around the world, especially in his own lands. Of course this has led him to gain his own version of morals, expectations and led to him calling himself "The Hero". Mostly because he does consider himself to be the hero and that it is him who needs to help other people. Even if it means that he has to barge into their business. Lastly, he is one of the most oblivious guys you will probably ever meet. This is mostly because he never really reads into how other people are acting. It is not because he is stupid or because he does not care, just that he is not a very observant person from time to time. However because of this, and his lack of knowledge of geography, most people consider him to not be very bright. Although this is extremely untrue as he can be a very bright person and good with creating plans and different items, he just doesn't show it a whole lot. This includes things such as designing airplanes and different types of weapons and every day gadgets.

Personality:
Sonic is, for better or worse, the self-proclaimed most cool guy around. He sticks up for his friends, and never backs down from a fight. He's carefree, not letting anything hold him back from having a good run across the world or just enjoying the view atop a large structure. He enjoys the feel of the wind whenever he's going places. And he's almost always going places. There's not much Sonic wouldn't do just to get out there and run.

However, the cool-headed hedgehog is often impatient, leading to him jumping into situations without thinking about the consequences, as has been referred to many times as he jumps into kicking some metal 'bot butt whenever he sees Robotnik's forces. The skill he possesses at what he does makes up for it; however, sometimes it causes him to become a bit complacent, leading to him almost getting killed on the ARK when trying to trick Robotnik with a fake emerald, and actually getting killed by Mephiles when they believed to have beaten him and Iblis back in Soleanna, even if all of that retconned itself in the end.

Overall, Sonic is a very fun-loving hedgehog. He's free-spirited, and always up for an adventure. He hates to sit around for too long, but sometimes he just enjoys relaxing, and hanging out with his friends. Hey, he even rested on a chair at a hotel beside Emerald Coast! He's also a very friendly person, even to people he's never seen before; he gives most people the benefit of the doubt, so long as they don't have a big brown bushy mustache and goggles on top of a bald head. So long as evil isn't wreaking havoc near him, Sonic will either rest or run. In light of something evil happening, Sonic will opt to stop relaxing and get on the job.

There are times, however, when Sonic can be quite annoying to those around him. For instance, when he doesn't listen to something Tails tells him, or boasts a little too much about his speediness around others. However, his general cheerfulness and ability to give hope to others more than makes up for this flaw in the hedgehog's personality. Almost nothing can bring him down, not even knowing that the world could be blown up in 24 hours. He'll just find a way to stop it without another care in the world.
