Note about the application process

On this page we will be posting our acceptances/rejections. For revisions, we prefer to come and find you on the contact information you have provided. This is so that instead of just a post, you have one of the mods to talk to in case of questions so things move smoother. Revisions might be for anything from weapon mechanics to wanting a little bit more information. For small changes (such as changing the wording of abilities for example) we will probably just accept you and ask you to quickly change that. So if you haven't got a reply and people below you have, don't panic! We are probably waiting for you to be available to discuss things with. If you notice before we have found you, please come and grab us!

Subject taught: Characters over the age of 18 are teachers. Please include the subject they will teach: Anything from Maths to History of Summoning Demons. It can be a standard school class, or something specific to their world. Characters 18 years and younger are students.
Canon: Include a link to a wiki article or website about your character's canon. For AUs and OCs, this is your place to elaborate on your character's background

Personality:

Two to three decent-sized paragraphs on your character's personality, motivations, behaviors, and other important things we should know about them.

Weapon:

Name: Check the list of weapon names to make sure your choice isn't taken! Or to get some inspiration from previous characters.

Form: The physical form the weapon takes -- sword, axe, bow, machine gun, etc.

Upgrades: Include five specialized upgrades for your character's weapon. Please make sure you have a mix of status upgrades (elemental or stat boosts) and abilities.

Lost memories:

You need ten of these. No more, no less. They can be anything from an entire year of the character's life to remembering how to make a cheese sandwich, and should have a mix of important and trivial memories. There are suggestions here for anyone who is stuck!

Dave Strider[AU] | Homestuck | Canon Update

Canon Point: End of Act 6 Intermission 2

History: Dave and Rose arrive at the Green Sun and are greeted by Aradia. From there, they meet up with Karkat and the remaining trolls on the meteor. Aradia and Sollux send the meteor off to start their three year journey to the new session.

A year in, and they're still traveling with each other, spending most of their time doing jack shit or visiting Dream Bubbles. Rose explains what the plan is once they arrive and the differences between their session and the new one. It really just ends with Dave and Karkat being fairly ridiculous.

Personality: Dave's personality seldom changes. He's still the mute coolkid. In person though, he's a lot dorkier than he made himself to be. Because this version of Dave is mute though, there's no change in how he talks in person than he does online since he still uses a text based program to communicate. Since he is mute, he does not mumble like his talking counterpart seems to do.

It seems that in a year, Dave has seldom changed, although it seems as though he's a little friendlier and more approachable with having hung out with everyone who's stuck on the meteor. He also seems to indulge in more childish things like Can Town.

Besides that, though, Dave doesn't change for the most part.

Personality:

Like Davesprite, Jadesprite shares much in common with Jade in her overall personality. However, she has one big hurdle to get over: the manner of her creation. Jade was created by prototyping Jade’s stuffed, dead, dream self with Bequerel, her First Guardian... guardian. Almost immediately, Jadesprite breaks down, and destroys the tower
they were in, she is so overwhelmed with depression from being alive again. As a result, she is very emotional and forgetful. She’s too overwhelmed by misery to be able to retain anything. She considers the whole fight against Jack and the game wholly useless, and defeat certain, so there’s no point in trying. The one thing she does want to do is get back to the afterlife with all of her “friends”, which I’m going to presume are the dead Prospitians from Skaia’s battlefield.

From her perspective, she’d been in the afterlife for years, and had forgotten a lot about what had happened on Prospit. She also knew nothing of what had been happening on Skaia and on the heroes’ planets. So when Jad pulled her back to life again, it was quite a severe adjustment for her.

Talking with Jade did nothing to improve her point of view, and in fact, had the opposite effect. It only made her more depressed. Overall, though, Jadesprite is quite forgetful and more forgetful than Jade is. She’s also very insecure in her abilities and feels bad for not being more useful to Jade and the others.
