CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Sanae Kochiya
Age: 17
Canon: CANON
Canon point: Post-Ten Desires

Personality:
Sanae is that cheerful, well-meaning girl that's easy to make friends with. She is very fascinated with anything alien/mecha. She can get pretty serious when someone threatens her or does something that she deems wrong, but she's pretty energetic when it comes to anything lighthearted or anything having to do with animes. She doesn't have the best common sense, but she at least has quite a bit of book smarts.

She's a hard worker (mostly), and works towards getting her studies done. She's also willing to help others when they need it, especially if it's important. In this sense, she isn't very fond of slackers or people who laze around. She's more than happy to help the slackers; however, it won't make her think very well of them.

However, there is one thing Sanae is extremely serious about other than her studies, and that is her friends. Sanae can become fiercely protective of any friends she makes, especially if she sees them being bullied or made fun of. She will do anything for her good friends, and won't let them come to any harm. Though it's easy to make friends with her if you're into anime or mecha-like things, she's only good friends with people she knows she can trust. She's not THAT gullible.

Sanae might seem shy at first glance, but she opens up rather quickly once a conversation has started. She'll stutter at times when she's nervous or embarrassed, but she tries hard not to let anyone see that side of her. She's extremely personable! ... It's just not that easy to start a conversation for her. If said person likes anime or video games, and anything involving mechas? Insta-friend and insta-conversation starter! Otherwise? It's not so easy. However, this is completely different when it's not a face-to-face discussion - she finds it much easier to post on the intranet, and her full sometimes-energetic personality comes into play.

She also cannot tolerate sarcastic people very often, though her ability to detect saracasm isn't always the greatest (low common sense, remember!) and sometimes she just won't get it. However, she feels that people who have a very negatively sarcastic sense just aren't that good to be around.

Oh, was it mentioned Sanae's a ditz? Yeah, she tends to trip and fall without meaning to, sometimes not looking where she's going if she's in a hurry. She'll always stop to apologize to anyone she rams into, though, and makes sure everything is hunky-dory before skittering off again.

One thing that's very noticeable about Sanae is her impulsive tendencies. A lot of the decisions she makes tends to be completely on a whim, especially if it's something she suddenly deems urgent, like something endangering her friends or a basketball coming right for her face. Well, if things like that tend to happen, anyway. This tends to get her into spots of trouble, but she feels she really can't help it!

CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Rose "Daisy" Lalonde
Age: 13
Subject taught: N/A
Canon: Homestuck | Aather + Rose's Aather History
Canon point: Day 169, Afternoon -- after the Sea Witch/Hook Trauma game and the Alice Love potion: Here.. (Rose has no 'canon point' from Homestuck, as memories are added to her registry as they appear in canon. So presumably, EoA6A3 as of now. However, she has not aged because it is going to be locked as a skill when she's finished going through the time skips.)

Personality:
Mature and refined, Rose is the only kid to type with correct grammar and syntax in Homestuck, something that belies her personality beter than she might think. She prides herself on her elegance, often using an extensive vocabulary to display her intellect. Intelligence is something that Rose Lalonde has in spades, and she's not afraid to admit it: she read Lovecraftian horror stories at the age of thirteen, and has a deep interest in writing -- at least, when she can write (which, because of anther, she currently can't). She dabbles in psychoanalysis, often joking with her friends that she's writing all their interesting quirks and habits down in a notebook to keep for future publication (no one actually knows if this is true or not). Certainly, she seems to have insight into her friends' behavior more than any other person in the game, befitting of a Seer. Rose is also the person that orchestrates most of the game, becoming the first server player and directing John through the game while simultaneously keeping a verbose game guide such as the ones found on GameFAQs. She is meticulous in her planning and orchestrating, detailing every section of her journey through the game until the results of the game prove that there is no way they can win. Her intelligence ekes out here as well -- it's her prosaic rendering of the game that initially attracts Kanaya's attention and gains her affection. This also carries over to Aather -- Rose has set herself up as quite the strategist, taking the place of the main team strategists in some games where quick decisions are necessary. She has even quested for a book to record Peridot's journey in, so that future Peridots might one day realize what the people before them worked for and held dear.

In addition to her intelligence, it's clear that Rose is a very secretive person. She hides things from her friends -- secrets about her wizard slash (which is written so elegantly that it's actually quite difficult to parse) and in Aather, secrets about her world and the darkness that she can sense is consuming her heart as she takes her memories. This frustrates people, and sometimes gets her into tense conversations, but she persists despite that. While the other kids are content to tell most of their ideas straight out, Rose prefers to hide her master plan until it benefits her to reveal all the steps. And when she doesn't have a plan, she doesn't like flying high unless she can shift the conversation back around to something safer. For example, with Tavros: she didn't like not having an answer to his FEELINGS conversation, so she bottled up all her real responses before moving the topic on to something safer.

Above all, Seers in the game of SBURB desire power, or the collection and retention of information that could place them higher than any other player. Rose is led by the forces of the outer ring, and in Aather by the morally gray friends she surrounds herself with. Rose fully believes in the power that information holds, and will destroy things to gain it -- she rips apart the seams of the game and her world in order to unearth the secrets of the Green Sun, flagrantly disregarding the warnings of the trolls. Knowledge is useful, and Rose knows how to distribute it for her personal gain. Taking risks is simply part of the game, and she will play the game to its fullest -- death is not a deterrent to her…at least her death. Other deaths are a completely different story -- she takes them hard and can't let go, going crazy over her Mother's death and flying to revenge John when he dies. She purposefully listens to the gods and creates her Thorns (dark magic-fueled knitting needles) with the intent of following their orders on the promise of knowledge and a successful game session. Rose doesn't like losing in anything, be it SBURB or a simple conversation. She must always get the last word, frequently having verbal spars with her ectobiology sibling Dave. Her ability to analyze other people's tactics makes her a formidable foe where passive-aggressive tactics are concerned. She knows just how to annoy or frustrate whoever she's speaking to.

But Rose isn't a cold, emotionless person. Sure, she likes to appear as such, but she's human like the rest of the kids, and experiences the same sorts of things. However, Rose believes that it's inefficient to go around spewing emotions all the time -- she only expresses her sorrow or anger when it's so great that she can't hold it in any more, like after her Mom is killed by Jack Noir, or in Aather, after she watched Ventus remove his own heart. She actually cares a great deal about her family and friends, despite seeming detached occasionally. While her sort of affection is a little lopsided and strange, she does wish all the best for them, and works towards success with their interests in mind. In her mind, she hides information to help them, as well as better herself -- even though people have recently been trying to talk her out of it, she's continuing to persist. Rose would never purposefully hurt any of her friends, and despite being a little chilly, she does admit that they are her best friends, and she loves their company. She's also very compassionate towards animals; Rose loved her cat, Jaspers, dearly before he passed away. She made her first friend in him, and this sort of tender affection for pets seems to translate over to not only her pony, but also her new (mutant) cat and the animal Personae in Aather. This same sort of affection and desire to take care of things for her animals is a variation of the protection she feels for her friends, only more readily apparent. She doesn't want to seem weak, though, so most of the time she hides what she feels and presents the calm, reasonable exterior that most are used to seeing. She has gotten so good at this facade that it's her natural reaction -- excessive displays of emotion are uncomfortable for her, and she would much rather talk about things calmly than display hysterics. Sometimes, however, her feelings get the better of her, and she will tear apart the game in order to get revenge for the people she loves.

Rose can also be fairly silly -- she rides Maplehoof into the sunset to the tune of western music, wearing her mother's scarf and letting it blow in the wind. She uses a magnetic 'w' for the refrigerator for a fake moustache, grinning at her new evil accessory. While she adores the erudite and the scholarly, Rose is also a normal thirteen year old at heart, capable of having great fun when the occasion arises. However, this is another thing that she keeps hidden -- it's not seemly for someone who wants to become a famous psychologist and author to be seen holding green Ws up to her nose. But the desire to do ridiculous things is still there, and she occasionally lets her crazy, teenage side out when she's by herself…or in Aather, when she's with Dave. There's a lot less pressure to do what's expected (or what she thinks is expected) when she's by herself or with a close friend, and Rose revels in the solitude that being an only child gives her. She's had ample time to explore her interests, and cares for her precious free time, as it allows her to be a real person, rather than some sort of emotionless weird kid (which she's not, she is quick to remind her friends). Rose just doesn't want people to think less of her -- power lies in the exterior presented as well as the interior knowledge behind the words, and Rose leaves nothing to chance.

To summarize the differences from canon: Rose doesn't have many! She is simply a bit more open -- more prone to sharing feelings and emotions with close friends and confidants. She is also, because of the more romantic nature of Aather, more aware of her romantic inclinations than previously. In addition, she has learned that she takes death extremely hard, and has sharpened her ability to actively avoid her friends to a point by shutting them out after huge trauma games and stressful events. If something bad happens...well, don't expect Daisy to talk to you about it. (Also: she can't actually read or write. Darn those missing skills.)

Weapon:
Name: Thorns of Beauty

Form: A large, silver book.

Upgrades:
  • Light
  • Digital Mind Wave
  • Durability +10
  • Dual-Wielding
  • Flattened - Book-type Weapons can be opened and clamped down onto the opposing Player and Weapon; whatever part of the Player is touched becomes flat like a page. Flattened Weapons lose some durability. Usable twice per battle. Opposing Players can still move/dodge while this Ability is attempting to activate, unless under the effects of Stop or any other movement-prohibiting Ability. If the Player wielding the book misses their attack, Flattened will fail and the book will lose Durability instead.

Lost memories:
  • Her Name: Rose Lalonde.
  • Tavros' confession of flushed feelings.
  • The color green.
  • That she is not the Confectionary Witch.
  • Watching Dave revive after the Sea Witch/Hook trauma game.
  • Impersonating Ventus while wildly drunk and making innuendos at Ven's boyfriend.
  • Figuring out a clever solution to drinking in Nimue's poison game.
  • How to pronounce "Aather".
  • Her quest for the seven-tier cake from the Gingerbread Witch.
  • Giving Lelouch her handmade drawing and receiving a hug in return.

CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Apollo Justice
Age: 22
Subject taught: Courtroom Skills and Theatrics
Canon: CANON
Canon point: After the last case in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Personality:
Apollo is a rookie defense attorney who is determined in court and passionate about his job, to the extent of doing silly things like practicing his 'Chords of Steel' to shout louder during a trial. Unlike Phoenix, Apollo is more focused on the law itself and getting to the truth of the matter than he is on defending his clients - while he does put his all behind representing them, he also tends to be more doubtful of them. Considering all of his clients so far have done something or other that was shady or illegal, a little doubt isn't unwarranted.

As a contrast to how he is in the courtroom, outside of it Apollo is a fairly normal - and sometimes downright boring - person. He places a lot of importance on being a responsible adult, never mind that he's still at an age where it's acceptable to still be a little immature. Unfortunately for him, it's not all that hard for someone to shake what would otherwise be a mild demeanor. He's hot-blooded, which is really only another way of saying that it's very easy for him to swing between emotions, provided he has the right kind of stimulus. He easily gets nervous, reacts immediately to being startled or scared, and even burst into tears once when he thought Trucy had been in mortal danger. But when given a little distance from whatever set him off, Apollo usually calms down quickly enough, too. Despite this, he's usually more logical than emotional, which means that he struggles a lot with the emotions that end up going against his own common sense.

Otherwise, Apollo isn't a very confident individual. He's a bit pessimistic, usually expecting things to go wrong... but on the other hand, his own determination tends to keep that pessimism from overwhelming him. He has one of those 'if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself' attitudes, and though he does accept help when he needs it (such as those times in court), for the most part he tries to achieve things on his own. This makes him very determined individual general, to the point that giving up or admitting that he might have a problem is a kind of weakness he's reluctant to display. While Apollo does have his fair share of problems that bother him - such as abandonment issues, lack of trust in people, and struggling self-worth - he doesn't like to show that he's anything but well-adjusted, and Apollo rarely talks about his childhood or his lingering fears with anyone. Getting him to open up usually takes a lot of time and patience.

One other important thing to note about Apollo is that he is a jaded character, though not as much as some others in the series. While his childhood as a foster child left him exposed to a lot of bad things, he held onto hope after discovering Phoenix Wright and learning that there are people out there trying to make the world better for everyone. Once he did achieve his dream of being a lawyer, of course, he found out that things weren't all they were cracked up to be, and his brief spots of optimism never seem to last very long. He has a sarcastic streak, and while he usually isn't mean about it, it gets more obvious when he's stressed out or annoyed with someone. Apollo is also a little vain, taking great care to keep his hair fixed and secretly wishing he could be cool.

Weapon:
Name: Truthseeker

Form: A gleaming short sword, with both the blade and the gold-plated hilt polished to a shine. Despite this, it doesn't have much in the way of decoration other than an eye on each side of the hilt of the same design as the pattern on Apollo's bracelet.

Upgrades:
  • Vitality Up
  • Akhet
  • Deafening
  • Stubborn
  • Perception - The player becomes hyper-aware of all living humanoid creatures in the immediate area. This negates Mask and Stealth, as well as any physical attempts at hiding, for up to two minutes.

Lost memories:
  • 1. The names of all of his former foster parents
  • 2. That Mr. Hat exists
  • 3. His first two years in college
  • 4. That Kristoph Gavin was declared guilty for his crimes
  • 5. All knowledge of the case that disbarred Phoenix Wright
  • 6. What Klavier Gavin looks like
  • 7. How to ride a bike
  • 8. His favorite food
  • 9. What light switches do
  • 10. What cats are

Estellise Sidos Heurassein | Tales of Vesperia

[personal profile] firstaid 2012-11-04 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Personality:
Estellise is a kind young princess from the capital city of the Empire, Zaphias. Though given her status, she was not allowed to leave her castle for her entire life, thus was only fed the information the council had wanted her to know, making her a very naïve young woman. Though while she is naïve, she gained an exquisite amount of knowledge from the books she had read while confined to the castle, thus making her like a walking encyclopedia. To put it shortly, she has zero street smarts, but insanely book smart. Naturally, for someone like herself who finally chose to escape from the castle (with a young man who had just escaped from jail, no less, though he is the best friend of a knight she highly trusts), only having book smarts had its strengths and weaknesses. And while she was not allowed to go into the outside world, she was trained how to fight by knights, therefore she is able to hold her own in battle in case something were to happen to her.

Though she is a noble and the way she speaks gives away her status, she hardly judges anyone else by what they look like or their status. Rather, she does get to know them and make her own judgment based on their personalities. Though sometimes in doing that, she comes to trust someone too easily, and thus is capable of being taken advantage of, which is shown by when she gets kidnapped by Raven and given over to Alexei, since her power of The Child of the Full Moon is what he sought after. But going beyond her status and her power, she wishes to be seen as a person, thus that is why she gets ecstatic when she gets christened “Estelle” by Yuri. While she still introduces herself as ‘Estellise’ to everyone she encounters for the first time, she is more than happy to be called by her nickname, as it shows her that they see her as a person, such as when Rita calls her ‘Estelle’ for the first time.

By the way she speaks, how she postures herself and her manners, many people are able to tell that she is of noble, if not royal birth. It is a natural habit she has, even if she does try her best to hide that fact. Another thing she attempted to hide was the fact that she was able to use her healing powers without the aid of a Blastia. In fact as shown in game, Yuri and Rita figured out that fact the first time she cast a healing spell on each of them, respectively. However, the Blastia is still shown to be needed to learn what are skills and other artes that do not involve the healing element.

Back to her never really being out of the castle, Estelle never really had to make any hard decisions on her own as pretty much all decisions were made for her. And out in the real world all she thought she had to do was heal people and be thanked for it. That was pretty simple, right? However, while on her journey, she was forced to make a few difficult decisions and it took her some time to figure out what to do and what people it would affect. Sometimes the decisions she was forced to make caused her to truly think about what is ‘right’ and what is ‘wrong’. She knows the laws and at many times at the beginning of her journey with her party points out what they were doing was breaking the law. Later in the story she ends up confused when she found out Yuri had murdered two people, however his actions saved numerous lives. With 'law keepers' massacring people for fun and 'criminals' who couldn't turn a blind eye to someone suffering, she could no longer go by the textbook definitions of 'right' and 'wrong'. As her journey continues, she learns that while making choices herself was difficult, she notes that ‘to live means to choose’ meaning that while she was in the castle for the first eighteen years of her life, she never was truly ‘living’.

The choices she made on her journey were those that she was proud to say were her own, and no one ever forced her to make decisions she never wanted to make. In this sense, this was how she grew in the greatest sense during the course of the game. When she had first left the castle, while it was her choice, she was on a mission to inform a friend he was in danger. By the end of the game, she grew because of what she learned about how corrupted people can be, and those that were deemed ‘criminals’ were only titled as such because they were rebelling against those who had been corrupted by power. She also grew in the sense that she learned that the choices she makes weren’t going to please everyone, to her dismay. Sometimes she would make choices that would make people unhappy, such as when she had chosen to fight against Alexei, and Rita protested that decision simply because she reformatted the formula in Estelle’s body to use her lifeforce when she used artes. In the most natural sense, all Estelle wants is people to be happy, and while it was hard for her to learn that lesson, she knew she could never please everyone.

However, some choices she had made (and if her friends allowed those choices to go through) would endanger or cost her her life, including the time she had asked to be killed. Those choices were only made when she realized she was putting her friends lives in danger, thus shows us that she puts others above herself – that she is someone who is truly selfless.

Estelle is also very compassionate and selfless when it comes to helping others. The moment she sees someone injured she will heal them without asking for anything in return. While this is one of her greatest strengths, it is also her greatest weakness – one, because even at times when she needs to ‘lay low’, she will still go out and heal every injured person in sight whether they want to be healed or not, two, she sometimes forgets about her own well-being and collapses from exhaustion and three, she literally killed an ally of hers with her compassion. However, even though she has such power she is not corrupt and is told to never lose the selfless compassion she has for others. Because of this compassion, at times she will end up forcing the party she’s traveling with to take on new jobs when she sees people suffering. If they don’t need healing, then they need liberation or a task done that cannot be done by them, but by a stronger group such as Brave Vesperia. This is when her selflessness becomes selfishness and she ends up being called out on it as well.

It was absolutely beautiful watching the spirits flying through the sky after the Adephagos was destroyed. They did it. They really did it. And what made her smile even more was that Duke was there aiding them in the end. While she was resolved to fight him and do whatever they could to save their world, she was all too happy that in the end, they could see eye to eye. He had just wanted to save the world in his own way, but she couldn’t accept his plan of killing off humanity to do so. What good would a world saved be without humans to live on it? Then again, the animals and all the other creatures would have prospered. Perhaps that was exactly what he was thinking. Even Duke never called himself a human, siding with the Entelexeia until the very end.

She couldn’t blame him though. Especially as a Child of the Full Moon. She saw what her own power did to the Entelexeia, but she also saw what her power did to the apatheia. Just like Duke wished to use his power in his own way to save the world, Estelle was capable of using her destructive power to bring new life to their world. That is what gave her hope, that she could do something. That when she saw Undine ecstatic with new life, forgiving her of her past sin, that she was given hope that she could do something. Especially if she had all of her friends at her side. Without them, she was most certain she would have been sacrificed much like the Children of the Full Moon in the past.

Though moments before the adephagos was destroyed, she could see Yuri’s desperation. He wanted to save this world so badly, even if he had no qualms expelling those who were harming innocents from it. He grew to love this world and Estelle could see that in his eyes, in his desperation to make the sword reach. As apathetic as he appeared, she could see when he really wanted to save someone, a town, and somehow it escalated to the world. If he thought fit to save it, then it really must be a good world to live in, right? She can only hope that now that everything is over, she can continue to travel this world with him. If she had never met him, then she wouldn’t have gotten to go on this journey, discover the pain of what it meant to be human, figure out who she was and escape the hands of the council. She would have been trapped in the castle as Princess Estellise and possibly still be a candidate to the throne as the council and the knights continued to fight over who was the better fit.

For selfish reasons, she was quite glad they chose Ioder. He’s a respectable person and has the best for everyone in mind. He’s not selfish like herself, who ran away to find Flynn instead of ordering the knights to bring him back. She wanted to leave, she wanted to go on a journey. And she did. Never once did she regret leaving the castle, never once. And now here she was witnessing the rebirth of their world. Perhaps rebirth isn’t the best way to put it, but it seemed like an appropriate way to say it. Of course she was aware that they may have to calm some squabbles with the lack of blastia, calm those down who are upset with their plan, but she was ready for that. She is ready for them. Yes, that will be the next part of their journey, to aid those who were dependent on blastia, and explain their position on why it had to be done. There was no way the entire world would know what was going on, even as nice as it would be for them to magically know.

At least that’s what she wished to do next. Perhaps also situate a place to live in Halure. She wasn’t quite sure if she could consider the castle her home anymore, and she somehow felt a connection with Halure ever since she healed their tree and met its spirit. That must be it. With a deep breath, the light show performed by the newborn spirits ceased as they began to travel around the world and restore it. After that, it was time to congratulate Yuri, right? With a large smile on her face, she ran to him, along with everyone else, all too happy that they succeeded with their plan.

Now it was on to a brand new journey.

CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Koishi Komeiji
Age: Unknown, but appears to be and acts around 15.
Subject taught: N/A
Canon: Touhou Project
Canon point: Post-Subterranean Animism

Personality:
Koishi is emotionless, yet full of emotion. Since closing her third eye and ridding herself of the ability to read the minds of others, it led her to come to do all actions unconsciously. She floats through life with no conscious state, moving from place to place with only her subconscious guiding her. She is ruled by id, ego, and superego. When others are concerned, she feels no empathy, but no hatred.

Her background, up until she lost her consciousness, is that of cowardice. She loved being with people, but her mind-reading drove them away. The only creatures that would interact with her were the speechless animals, who loved mind-readers as they were the only ones who understood their thoughts. Being able to craft the thoughts into words was Koishi’s power, at first, but the hatred and fear created as a side-effect was somewhat of a minor effect. What she really hated was the intense feelings she saw around her, the thoughts and desires of humans and youkai and animals that so overpowered her and made her unsure as to what to do. She was overloaded, and shut her third eye to silence it and become, well, normal.

Though cowardly, as some might call it, it paid off to give her what she truly wanted, albeit not how she expected – she is no longer bombarded by emotions around her, but her empathy for these emotions is also sealed away. She simply lives as she wants to, with no concern for others. If they think she’s pitiful, she doesn’t mind. If they feel she’s strange or weird, she hardly notices. She follows her basic instincts of the subconscious and travels the world, doing whatever is fun or cool that her mind leads her to do. She has no consciousness to warn her of dangers anymore – the world is her oyster.

On the outside, she appears to be a cheery girl, giving off the appearance of paying attention and caring for the other person. It can become apparent, though, that she hardly cares what the other is saying – she’ll stand and leave in the middle of a conversation, she’ll change topics suddenly to whatever floats through her unconscious thought, and if you’re bleeding in front of her, mere moments from death, she’ll ask where the nearest pizzeria is. You won’t know you’re in her way until she grabs you and tosses you away.

Name: The Holy Empire of Britannia
Canon: Fandom Original Character
School: Fortitude
Timeline: After the ending of Code Geass.

Changes:
With Zero Requiem complete and Lelouch dead, Britannia was left in the hands of Empress Nunally vi Britannia, sole surviving member of the royal family/the only one who actually wanted the throne. Nunally, who embodied ideals unlike any monarch before her, began to change the structure of her nation entirely, placing value on things like equality, kindness and peace; Concepts which had never before been even considered remotely important in the Britannia Empire. Because Britannia's personality is governed by the voices of her people, she too began to change radically. Split between those who still clung to the ways of Saint Darwin and those who chose to embrace the new doctrine, for the first time since Britannia's christening, her country was suffering dissension, a break in what was once an infallible unity. Racked with economic instability (due to that whole NO FIGHTING thing) and a lack of purpose, Britannia struggled to keep up with her ever changing country- and was ultimately failing. Every day brought new insecurities and uncertainty, new challenges that she had no idea how to overcome and an ever growing sense of unease. She was no longer confident in her existence, like a teenager who had just discovered how little they really knew. Everything was just so... unknown.

Though she was eventually reassured by a handful of select individuals, Britannia knew full well that she could no longer return to the person she had once been and- truly? Was starting to feel she didn't need to. As months passed and she slowly began to adapt to her new boss and her desires, Britannia took heart from the people around her who- for the first time in her life- treated her not as an enemy but as something just a bit less hateful.

As a result, Britannia as she is now is far less confident than when she first came to Rakuen. That isn't to say she's lost all of her sense of certainty, only that she's now much less cocky and arrogant. Prone to moments of thoughtfulness, her mentality these days isn't so much as CONQUER CONQUER CONQUER, but protect, preserve and persevere. She still desires strength (believing it is the best way to survive,) and honors Saint Darwin, but much less passionately. With her focus taken away from attacking other nations to rebuilding international relations, as well as stabilizing herself internally, Britannia has lost some of the self-entitlement she once had and replaced it with a child's hesitancy. While she may pause before acting, true to her original nature she's adapting fast and rapidly maturing. It won't be long before she finds herself again and- once she does- hopefully it will be something she can stick to for another 200 years.
